  Dance

For 10 years we enjoyed holding a community (Israeli folk) dance class on Tuesday nights.  The first 5 years we met in our congregation building, and then expanded to an outdoor/indoor dance class at the University of Florida for the next 5 years.  After taking a long break, we started up again on Wednesday nights, meeting at NW 44th Ave., for another 3 years.  From there we were at 619 NE First Street for four years and at the First Church of the Nazarene (FCN) campus for one year. Now that we are at 2925 NW 39th Ave. (former site of Greenhouse Church), we have dance classes every Thursday evening from 6:00p-8:15p.  Often we may dance after our Saturday services, but we always enjoy dancing *during* our services as part of the liturgy.  Come visit us and see for yourself.

We were in the newspaper! The Gainesville Sun printed an article on our dance class (archived from October 8, 2007).

We would like to acknowledge and thank the MJF (Messianic Jewish Fellowship) at UF for hosting the dance class at the J. Wayne Reitz Union Colonnade for more than 5 years.
